Student Athlete Program

The Golden Square Student Athlete Program (SAP) has been established to assist talented student athletes to achieve at the highest levels of performance in sport; and to help them with their personal, educational and vocational development. 
The program will be established with partnerships between community and educational groups from around the Bendigo area: including SEDA and Bendigo Harriers Athletics .

Golden Square Primary School (GSPS) 5531 was established on Laurel St in 1873 in response to a burgeoning local population and economy associated with the boom of the goldfields and the work and wealth they generated.  In 1956 Maple Street Primary School was established, a brisk walk just across the highway as an annex of GSPS, which then graduated to become its own school in the 1970s. Click on the link below to read more.
