Use of Social Media for School Events

We are currently reviewing the process by which we communicate to you. With the emergence of Digital Technologies, we have gradually moved to different platforms to help facilitate the way we provide information and promote events. While this has attempted to deliver information to meet the different needs of our community, it has also created duplication and some challenges along the way.

To help improve and keep up to date with the way we use technology the school has created a Facebook page. Through the use of social media we hope to provide an up to date account of major school events and stories as they unfold.

Any images or video will meet with the school and Department of Education’s privacy policies. The content of the page will be administered by the school and will encompass our school values. This will ensure consistency and a range of material across the many exciting events and programs which are provided at Golden Square Primary School. There is a link to the Facebook page on the school’s website or you can search for Golden Square Primary School.

Over the next 6 months we will also be streamlining our other digital communication platforms. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact the school so we can assist you at
